I have a job at Transport Canada after all the security clearance goes through, I will be a working woman!!! So exciting!!

Another interesting note,

I'll be running a 10km race this Saturday in the Ottawa Marathon Weekend 2006!! I'm so nervous, it's going to take me forever to run it!! But atleast I have Steph and Will running with me (figuratively)!! I'm going to be so sore afterwards!!

My bib number is 23361 so cheer for me!!

Addicted

I have been addicted mostly to reality TV this year, as well as other shows, and now they're all coming to an end.

The Hippies won $1,000,000!!! who I originally chose to win in the beginning

Denny died during the prom

Lorelai gave Luke an ultimatum

Terry should have won $1,000,000 and Danielle didn't have a shot

I chose Danielle to be ANTM from the final 10

I want Sean to be hired

And anything can happen on Wisteria Lane next week.

Superstitions

Well, Will has convinced himself that he is the one that is causing the Senators losing streak.

Everytime he works nights and there's a game on, he asks me to tape it.

All those nights that I've taped the games for him (in which he has watched none of), the Senators have lost. Including the one game in round 1 that they lost. Kind of odd, isn't it?

So, tonight he is working, and the Senators are facing elimination, and he asked me NOT to tape the game, in hopes that they win, because he believes that he is their bad luck charm. He's just not meant to see them win!!

Funny how life is, isn't it??

So, I cannot believe that with this second round of playoff games there's one team that's dominating the series:

Anaheim is winning the series 3-0
Buffalo is winning the series 2-0
Carolina is winning the series 2-0 and
San Jose is winning the series 2-0

and it just so happens that Will only picked 1 of the 4 that is actually winning : Anaheim

Enough hockey,

I just finished The Da Vinci Code and I know there's a lot of controversy over some information stated. It is a fiction novel, and there are some facts that are true, which they mention in the very beginning, but overall, I found it a very thrilling book and I cannot wait to see it in the movies with Tom Hanks. I couldn't put the book down. It took me 3 days.

I've got a few books lined up for summer reading such as Anna Karenina, Night, Domestic Goddess, and I'll probably pick up some old classics like Jane Austin or Wuthering Heights or something like that. I'm sure Anna Karenina alone will take me half the summer, being really big!!

So, Will's picks for Round 1 didn't turn out so well.

He only got 4 teams to win correct, and after that only 1 of those 4 did he get with the right amount of games played:

Let's try round 2 picks, maybe he'll be more successful

I did really poorly in the playoff pool on sportsnet, but I'm not meant to be a hockey expert.

Oh, and a shout-out to my boys in Calgary. They tried hard and persevered, but it just didn't cut it this year! Maybe next year you guys will win the cup!!

Go Flames Go!

So, my Calgary Flames are facing elimination. It's a do-or-die situation right at this moment, as they are currently playing in game 7 to move on to play Edmonton in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

So far, the score is 0-0, end of the first period, and I'm sitting here so anxiously awaiting any goal or any penalties against Anaheim (in which they've had 2 so far, and Calgary has had none!!).

The building is filled with fans dressed in red jerseys, which makes me feel so proud for the team.

The shots on goal are 10-10 and my Kipper (seen in the photo above) is doing fantastic! This is such an intense game!!

Calgary could have won in game 6, but (as always) they couldn't quite cut it, and had to face the dreaded game 7 for the 3rd time in two years.

GO CALGARY GO!!!

I am officially a university graduate - receiving my diploma in June.

No more teachers!! No more (expensive) books!!
