I'm sitting here in the office, cold, shivering with goosebumps, reading an article about how when your body is cold, you are not as productive as when you are comfortably warm.
I thrive on being work-oriented, and when I get cold, I DO realize that I am not as energetic to work, but I concentrate more of my energy into getting warm, and what I can eat/drink to get warm, and where to buy it.
The article also mentioned that one of the things that keeps you warmer is to keep your toes covered. Lucky for me, I haven't packed all my shoes yet, but I do love my flip flops!! It's a tough battle for my feet.
Also, I prefer to wear skirts, and I'm pretty sure that will not help me stay warm, it's just hard when I'm in the middle of packing everything I own, thinking I'm moving at the end of the summer, realizing all my warm clothes (long sleeve shirts, boots, sweaters) are packed in a box somewhere among the mess in my apartment.
I'm also finding it colder at night time. I've packed up my duvet already and am just sleeping with a quilt (which I am known for hogging throughout the night) and hiding myself in it like an eskimo.
Because of this sudden change in weather (last week was 50 degrees with humidity, working in 20 degree building, living in 50 degree apartment to this week being 20 degree building, 25 degree weather, 10 degree apartment - I'm sure I'm probably exaggerating) I am developing a slight cold virus adding to the sudden lack of sleep I'm getting thinking of everything that still needs to be done.
Still, I can't help but find myself always cold - and I want it to stop!!
