Reality TV

How is it that I'm totally obsessed with reality TV? Is it that I think I can relate to these people more, because I know they're not acting? Is it becuase I think I can participate in their show better than them? Is it that if feels like real drama? I don't know, but I know that I'm completely obsessed with it.

This past summer, I ended up watching America's Got Talent, Big Brother and Treasure Hunters. In the fall, I will be watching America's Next Top Model, Survivor, The Apprentice, The Amazing Race. I think the only "real" shows I'll be watching in the fall will be Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Those are the only 2 that I've really caught on to this past year. There are so many new shows this fall, with a lot of well-known actors as well. Crazy! I guess it's the "thing to do" now.

If you have not yet heard in newspapers, internet or radio, Survivor is dividing the people into 4 teams: African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic, and Caucasian). There has been much controversy over this division of race. What do you think? Survivor starts on Global Sept. 14

Oh, and I just read that Apple is recalling several million laptops for overheating (and catching on fire) Sony batteries!! I am actually getting a bit worried owning a laptop!!

Also, what's with Pluto not being a planet anymore?? How come all of a sudden they decide to change the definition of a planet?
